Playdough Adventures

Playdough is a great activity! Its quick and easy to make (perfect if you wake up to a rainy day), it encourages toddlers to be creative, helps build coordination, and if you add smells and textures is a full sensory experience.

You don't need to go out and buy special toys, plastic cutlery that probably already have is fine, other kitchen utensils, plastic cups as cookie cutters, food pots, and even toys like cars and trucks are great.

Here is a fab no cook recipe but I would suggest using more flour than the recipe states.

There's loads of things you can add to playdough to make it different, our favourites are: textures like glitter (of course), sand, coffee, rice, and flower petals; and smells such as vanilla essence, pepermint flavouring, spices, cocoa (amazing) lavender and herbs; and of course food colourings for a whole array of colours!
