A great simple activity which encompasses so much learning for your little artist - shapes, objects, colours, textures, cause and effect... All you need is paper, some paints, anything circular to print with and of course lots of enthusiasm. I simply showed Jake that he had to dip the printing object into the paint and then onto the paper, he got it in seconds!

A wooden pole from Jake's building blocks |

A toilet roll gives lovely circular outlines |

Bubble wrap around a block makes cute little circles |

Jake really interested in all the shapes and colours |

Final touches...

Two fantastic paintings! Jake is very proud of his 'circle pictures'!
During the activity he was telling me what all the colours were and asking for the different printing objects, discovering what they all did and mixing them with different colours. Lots of fun.
Love the various things you used to paint circles. I am sure your little one enjoyed it. You could cut the bubble wrap in the shape of a circle.
