Building a Den

As the end of the year approaches I wanted to tie up some loose ends and post all the activities we've done but haven't posted. So, here goes the first one. Nice and simple, and good for any age; building a den and playing in it! All you need is some sheets, blankets, pillows and anything else you or your little one wants to take into the den! We had books and hot chocolate! 







It was a nice activity to take some time out from daily tasks and chores, and bond a little. It also got Jake interested in some books he hadn't wanted for a while, as well as some spacial awareness development (bending down to get in and out)! Its probably something we should do more often!!
