Then I added some of the turquoise 'bath crystals', green glitter and blue sequins to get a sparkly effect that the sea gets in the sun. For the beach I simply added sand, shells and pebbles, and a couple of palm trees (from a puffy sticker set we had). I also threw in a couple of small plants as sea weed. And to finish a dolphin and a shark.
Lovely!

Jakes actual words when I got this out were: "Wow! Mummy, that's amazing!" |
Your son was right, this is amazing for the little ones! If someone doesn't have sand at home they could also use a sand play dough recipe. Thanks for sharing. My girls will love this.
ReplyDeleteIm glad you like it! A few other alternatives for sand are
Delete- soft brown sugar (see http://www.creativeplayhouse.mumsinjersey.co.uk/2012/05/sand-playdough.html)
- cloud dough: http://www.creativeplayhouse.mumsinjersey.co.uk/2011/11/cloud-dough.html
